Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

and for the americans, happy Columbus (however u spell that) day!!

lol, while were on the subject of thanksgiving, i have a confession: it isnt really one of my favourite holidays. I do belive that we should have a day to give thanks for all the things we have, but just the way we do it is a little strange to me... Its basically saying "O thank you god (or whoever u worship) for our house, our family, our health, our fortune and our food.....now lets kill and eat one of your creatures like the other millions of people are doing today." THAT to me is just strange  Once again, i do belive that we SHOULD give thanks for the thinsg we have, but we dont have to celebrate it by killing a turkey!! Im not a vegetarian by any means, but seriosuly..so MANY turkeys get killed on thanksgiving...its like an annual slaughter (it kinda is...). And whats sad about thanksgiving is that so many people dont even care about giving thanks..all they care about is eating turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and all that other stuff!!! Even little kids are being brainwashed into that load of crap...if u look at what kids do during thanksgiving, there not giving thanks!! there doing arts and crafts and the focus is a turkey!! Im sorry, but this jsut sickens me...thanksgiving isnt about eating or making turkey art..its about giuving THANKS (hence the name). And it just discusts me people think otherwise.And i jsut realized sumthing..the same goes for some other holidays to ... Look at easter for example: the real meaning isd the death of jesus christ. And kids are being brainwashed into it being about the "easter bunny"  ok, i may not be religious, but jesus christ died today, people should be sad...not giving out chocolate (and i have to admit rite now, i do enjoy the chocolate, but serisously though, its not right..). And for another example, Christmas. OMG thats gotta be the worst ..The real reason for Christmas is about the birth of jesus christ, and also about family values and togetherness, but little kids are brainwashed for years beliving that theres a fat guy in the north poll in a work shop looking over you 24/7 making sure your good so that his elves can make u presents (instead of giving you coal) so that way on christmas he can get into hsi sleigh with his 8 or 9 (depending if u want to count "rudolph") and fly away and go down chimmenys and stuff your stocking.

Is it just me or does it seem like some child molester made that up 100 years ago? im not even joking...a guy watches you 24/7 (so that means when ur on the toilet, when ur getting dressed, when ur bathing...) and 1 night he will come into your house and give you presents for being so good...

Sounds actually like a child molester/pimp at the same time to me..

Anywyas, thats about the only 2 examples i can think of (well, theres also the "tooth fairy" but theres no real holiday for that..) and i jsut wanted to show u how bad society is sometimes without even knowing it. Like sure, these holiday figures are fun for kids, but once they realize that they arent real, christmas and easter arent as fun anymore. At least thats how it was for me...

Anyways, going back to the subject of thanksgiving. diont focus so much on the turkey and the food..think about giving thanks for the things you have. Im out for now, so just think about it, peace...
